The other day, I was helping my mom clean out her sewing room so we both could benefit by sewing in there. Y'all, my mom has the cutest taste and has everything I would need to complete any projects I choose this summer. A closet full of fabric, a big cutting table, and lots of patterns. While going through her patterns, I stumbled across this beauty - a 1997 monthly themed t-towel set called the Baker's Dozen. I fell in love immediately and knew this was a project I needed to do this summer. Well, I finished it within two weeks, that's how easy and fun this project was.

I love thinking about my future home and how I want to decorate it. When I saw this pattern, I could envision these t-towels on my oven handle each month. I'm a big fan of decorating for each season and holiday. .

I first got the inspiration to do monthly t-towels when I went with my friend to the best store...Real Deals. If you haven't been there, drop what you're doing and just go. You can thank me later. While we were there, they were having a 10% off sale of Christmas decorations. In the decorations section, we saw the cutest Santa t-towel and we both bought one. I went to her house the next day, and she had it hanging on her oven and I knew right then and there that I wanted a monthly t-towel always hanging on my oven - for decoration only of course. No one will use these towels for anything other than decoration.

I basically followed the pattern except for a few things I changed, and I made up June and July. I wasn't the biggest fan of the patterns they had for those months, and I wanted them to be more country style and remind me of home.

Alright, I've talked about them enough, now you need to see them.
