If you've been following me a while, you have realized how much I dislike hard, crunchy cookies. They are seriously the worst. The only cookie recipes I present on this blog are the soft, chewy ones. That is one thing I can always promise you. These snickerdoodles are no different. They are soft and chewy and oh so yummy. The recipe is below!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. Butter (softened)

  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

  • 2 3/4 c. Flour

  • 2 tsp. Cream of Tartar

  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda

  • 1/2 tsp. Salt

  • 3 Tbs. Sugar

  • 1 Tbs. Cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together. Set aside.

  2. Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla and blend together.

  3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.

  4. Shape dough into 2 Tbs. balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture (3 Tbs sugar and 1 Tbs. Cinnamon)

  5. Place dough balls 2 inches apart on parchment paper or baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
