I love Easter. Not just because it's greening up, flowers poking through the soil, or the sign of summer coming, but because of the reason behind the season. He Lives! He came to this earth to pay a debt He didn't owe, but to pay a debt that WE owed. He brings us peace and joy in this life, especially in times like today where it feels uncertain, scary, and a little depressing. We can find peace through Him if we seek Him out and hear Him. He is my Lord and Savior and I look to Him to find the peace we all are seeking. So, take time today to think of Him and be grateful for His ultimate sacrifice in paying a debt He didn't owe.
One of my favorite Easter traditions is deviled eggs. I was literally salivating all week thinking about demolishing them this Sunday at dinner. I decided to put myself in charge of it this year since I didn't actually know how to make them. I made all the preparations of boiling the eggs, dying the eggs - yes, the Wilson's still dye eggs because it doesn't feel like Easter without it, you can still be old and dye eggs. Then when I went to make them, I asked my mom for the recipe. She then replied, "I don't have a recipe, I just make it up every year." Then my dad piped in and said it's different every year. Hinting that some years he likes them, and other years he doesn't. So, this year we both decided that we needed to WRITE a recipe down. There was some trial and error while making this recipe, but we must have done a pretty good job of making it because it even got the dad and brother stamp of approval. So, here is the WRITTEN down version of the Wilson's deviled eggs.

Ingredients:
- 12 Hard Boiled Eggs
- 1/4 c. Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbs. Vinegar
- 1 Tbs. Sugar
- 1 Tbs. Mustard
- 1 Tbs. Milk
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Paprika (to sprinkle on top)
Directions:
1. Boil 12 eggs.
2. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Scoop out egg yolks into a separate bowl. Smash egg yolks with a fork.
3. Mix in the other ingredients except paprika.
4. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
5. Sprinkle paprika on top of the eggs.
6. Serve cold and enjoy!
