If you are looking for the perfect, easy snack recipe, look no further. This recipe is seriously the best. It's called pretzel crack for a reason. You can't seem to get enough. As I'm writing this, it makes me want to go in a sneak a few before lunch. Yesterday, I was helping my mom clean out her food pantry. In here we found two huge bags of unopened pretzels. My mom and I chuckled because if one is never enough...right? We both had thought it was an accidental buy until my dad comes in for lunch and said, "Oh! I forgot about these, I bought these for you to make those pretzels!" So, it wasn't an accident. These are the perfect tractor ride, road trip, and picnic snack. I first stumbled upon this recipe when my instructor at BYU-Idaho made these for a school trip. Instantly, I fell in love. We had a total of three vans on this trip and I refused to share these pretzels with anyone. Don't worry, I did eventually share them but making sure our van had the biggest bag. She told me it was a simple Pinterest recipe.

That summer, I came home and made them. My dad and brother loved them. I think they lasted three days at most. So, this time I doubled the batch to have them last a little longer. The only complaint I had about these pretzels were that they were a little too spicy. I adjusted the spice level of them in the recipe below. If you want more spice, just add more cayenne pepper and lemon pepper. It will spice it up. These will be perfect for the long tractor rides ahead of me this summer.

Ingredients:

- 1 regular size bag of pretzels (the window ones are the best, but any pretzels will work)

- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper

- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

- 1 pkg dry ranch mix

- 3/4 c. canola oil

Directions:

1. Put pretzels in a Ziploc gallon bag. Add dry ingredients to Ziploc bag and mix it around

2. Put canola oil in bag and mix it around.

3. Leave them to soak over night or a couple of hours. I always turn the bag a couple of times to make sure they're all coated.

4. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees. Put pretzels on parchment paper and bake for 40 minutes.
